Tori danced at Harlequin Stage School from the age of 3-18 where she received classical training in ballet, modern, contemporary, and jazz dance.
She left Harlequin when she went to Aston University to study Marketing in 2015. During her studies, Tori danced for the University Dance Team, learning commercial and hip hop styles, she became the Contemporary Dance captain, choreographing and teaching lessons to her peers. Alongside this, she took ballet lessons at the Birmingham Hippodrome to continue her classical training.
Upon returning to Worcester when she graduated from University, Tori took up Barre, Shabam, and pole classes as a means to keep dancing in someway alongside her full-time job in Digital Marketing.
Inspired by the great teachers she had throughout her many year’s dance experience, Tori began a qualification to become a qualified barre fitness instructor with the idea of bringing the benefits of ballet to the masses, in an accessible and fun way.
During the 2020 lockdown, Torre Barre was born, with online classes taught via Zoom. Being able to teach online means that people who may not have been able to access classes normally, can. It also means participants can really dance like no one is watching!
